Admission Day: Bachelor programs Brussels
Accelerate your IE Admission process
IE University is proud to offer a unique combined event opportunity for its candidates from Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemburg.
The event will commence with an Admission Test (specific to candidates who have completed their Online Application and paid their admission fee). After the Admission Test there will be an Alumni Panel, where two IE University alumni, currently working at Nike, will share their experience at IE University as students. Later on, the event will continue with a Workshop on the topic of Social Entrepreneurship at the Base of the Pyramid: Business Solutions for the World’s Poorest given by Professor Waya Quiviger.
About the Master Class
Despite global attempts to eradicate poverty, over 4 billion people still lack access to basic resources and services, such as potable water, basic health services, and primary and secondary education. Until these services are more evenly distributed, our world will always be plagued by injustice and inequality. The global community must thus work harder to address the needs at the Base of the Pyramid, the poorest segment of the world’s population, often excluded by markets, banks and multinationals. This session will discuss and explore how social entrepreneurs find innovative solutions for the world’s 4 billion most underprivileged people.
